I have always been a gator at heart, so it's fitting that I just graduated from the University of Florida. My college years were truly the best of my life â?? I met my best friends freshmen year, along with about a million other amazing people. As I move into my 14th year of being single and moving into 2010. I think it's time for me to settle down. I have been divorced four years, I have 2 grown sons and 4 teenage daughters. the 3 youngest live with there mom but stay with me 1 or 2 nights a week. the oldest (20 on Nov 20) live with me. I retired from phone coompany after 35 years, and now work as cook at hospital.

For every three steps forward I take, I make sure to take two steps back. That way I don't get to where I am going too fast. It is possible to be in two places at the exact same time. Ive just recently moved to flordia and its taking some time to get used to. I enjoy music like ALOT its basically my life. Going to shows is something i could do every day, bayside...the audition...saosin...some of my favs.. I would like to find someone that enjoys life and can laugh at things including themselves. I am a very laid back person and enjoy doing casual things like riding my bike, watching tv, or playing card games. But I also love to go out on the town and have fun too.

I do not need to talk or text my significant other every 2 hours during the day nor do I expect to restrict or have you restrict friends that either has. I don't smoke and would prefer someone who doesn't purely because I watched my grandmother die from it and will probably have to take care of my mother when she starts to die from it.

I seek honesty in all aspects of a friendship or relationship and would expect that in return. I guess I am being picky but I don't see the point in wasting time over some of these small items that are deal breakers.

I love the outdoors and the beach and water but I do have a bad habit of watching way too much T.V. I do enjoy working on computers"fixing them" and working with programs, getting them to work... I also like riding around in my Mustang convertable, which needs a new top, so it is down most of the time... I have lived in Florida for about fifteen years in which three or four of them were in Daytona and now I live in the Ocala National Forest east of Ocala in Silver Springs... I enjoy yard work which is difficult cause of my disabilty, bad back and neck, but I try to live with it with out complaining too much... I will add more later:-)
