St. John Lutheran School Reviews

As a former student, I found that the school does offer quality education during elementary and middle school years. However, as the student enters high school, the quality soon begins to fade, as very few class options are provided. Also, although whoever is considering this school is most likely Lutheran, the school is rather limiting to those who are otherwise Christian. Although religion is not directly taught in classes other than Religion class, it quietly creeps into certain academic areas. This can, at times, can become an obstacle for students to try and think outside the box and question the nature of the world. However, if you have no problems concerning this, the school should provide a suitable learning environment for any Christian family. Mind you, Catholics would most certainly prefer Blessed Trinity or Trinity Catholic.

It's a really great School with an excellent learning environment.

English class had to read a book, but they didn't have enough books. So, if a student bought the book then gave it to the teacher once they were done with it the child received an extra grade for it. This is buying a grade....not very perfessional. And the Bible teacher taught his points of view not Biblical points of view. My Daughter was absent for 7 days during the last 2 semisters...yet her report card said she had not missed any days. If their accounting is that bad, how do you know the rest of the information like grades are correct.
